We moved back in with the paternal grandparents so they could watch the children and I could take extra work. We still do not own a home and are staying with them. Occasionally, the commune has given me support such as instant noodles, fish sauce, salt, and seasoning powder, but I have never received financial assistance. We have not received poor-household status either. When I applied, they said the child could still walk normally and had intact limbs, so they would not approve it. My child began transfusions at 10 months old and is now almost 8. |
