| The family has 4 people: father Phạm Duy Thức from Hà Tĩnh, mother Đặng Thị Lan from Nghệ An, and 2 children, Phạm Duy Tuấn and Phạm Hà My. They previously lived and worked in the south, where the 2 parents earned around 20 million. Since Tuấn became ill, they moved to the mother's hometown to facilitate treatment at the central hospital in Hà Nội, and income has fallen, depending entirely on Mr. Thức. Because they are staying with the maternal grandparents, the family has not been granted poor-household status in Hà Tĩnh.
