Why does the Fund support only children with life-threatening blood disorders, rather than other disadvantaged people in society?

As the economy and society develop, vulnerable people still remain; this is part of the reason charities come into being. Most charities were founded and continue to exist today out of a noble desire to provide others with emotional and material support. Charities also have limits on their resources, which is why each organization chooses a particular group in society on which to focus its support. Giấc mơ đôi chân thiên thần seeks to focus on this group with lasting, practical companionship, offering not only financial/material help but also emotional support so that the children recognize that they are not victims of injustice, appreciate the help they receive, and live with greater responsibility toward themselves, their families, and society.

2. Why not connect the child's family directly with the Companion, rather than making transfers or working through the GMĐCTT Fund?

With strict, clear, and systematic controls, we want Companions' contributions to reach the children's parents directly and be used for treatment. The Fund therefore transfers money monthly after receiving the doctors' itemized bills from the families, ensuring the Fund's transparency and the value of its support. All procedures and monthly financial reports are disclosed transparently at: giacmodoichanthienthan.com. Companions can view them directly through the GMĐCTT Fund's communications channels.

3. Why transfer money monthly rather than sending it to the child's family in 1 lump sum?

Because the child attends 1 regular checkup each month under the doctor's treatment schedule, with medical costs of 1-2 million for medication and blood transfusions. The Fund wants families to understand that the monthly transfer is intended for these treatment costs, not any other expenses, and the child receives support only when the family follows the doctor's instructions to bring the child for regular checkups.

4. Why the amount of 1–2 million? Why, when the Fund has such a large balance, does it not support more children or provide more money?

1–2 million is the average monthly cost of follow-up care for 1 child, including medication, tests, blood transfusions, and so on.

For each child, the Fund commits and hopes to provide support for at least 1 year, with a view to longer-term assistance. Therefore, to ensure that 1 child receives the full support promised and that the companionship truly creates value, the corresponding funding must be planned. Supporting each child with 1-2 million per month requires 12-24 million for 1 year; supporting 10 children over this period thus requires at least 120-240 million. The Fund currently accompanies 17 children, and this number will increase according to its capacity and connections with One-to-One Companions. The available balance therefore both secures the duration and number of children currently supported and enables equivalent support to be planned for any 1 new child.

5. Why does the Fund support children only until age 18?

Because support is expected to continue from the onset of illness until the child reaches adulthood at around age 25, a regular treatment schedule gives the child the best possible chance of becoming completely healthy. Therefore, to ensure early support with a commitment to regular monthly treatment following the doctor's schedule, children are accepted for support between ages 1-18.

1.
